Game Objective

Your goal in Super Ninja Adventure is to navigate through each level, defeating enemies and reaching the exit portal. Along the way, collect coins and power-ups to boost your score and abilities. Each world ends with a challenging boss fight that tests everything you have learned.

Core Mechanics

Movement & Platforming

The ninja moves with weight and momentum. Short taps result in small steps, while holding a direction builds up speed. Mastering the movement is key — many levels feature precise platform sequences where a single misstep means starting over.

Wall jumps are available on certain surfaces. Run into a wall and press jump to kick off it and reach higher platforms. Chain wall jumps between two close walls to climb vertical shafts.

Combat System

The katana slash is your primary attack. It has a short range but deals solid damage. Time your strikes carefully — attacking mid-jump extends your reach and lets you hit aerial enemies. On the ground, you can chain up to three consecutive slashes for a combo that sends enemies flying.

Collectibles

  • Gold Coins — Scattered throughout levels. Collect them to increase your score.
  • Health Orbs — Red orbs that restore one hit point. Essential on harder levels.
  • Speed Scrolls — Temporarily boost your movement speed by 50%.
  • Shield Amulets — Grant one-hit invincibility. Perfect for boss fights.

Enemy Types

Each world introduces new enemies with unique behaviors:

  • Shadow Scouts — Basic patrol enemies. Walk back and forth. One hit to defeat.
  • Shuriken Throwers — Ranged enemies that toss projectiles. Crouch or jump to dodge, then close the gap.
  • Oni Brutes — Slow but heavily armored. Requires three hits to take down.
  • Ghost Wisps — Float through platforms and chase you. Keep moving to outrun them.
  • Trap Masters — Place spike traps on the ground. Watch for glowing floor tiles.

Tips for Beginners

  • Take it slow at first. Learn the level layout before speedrunning.
  • Always look before you leap. Some gaps hide enemies or spikes below.
  • Use the crouch slide. It passes through narrow gaps and dodges high projectiles.
  • Collect every coin. High coin counts unlock bonus content at milestones.
  • Practice wall jumps. Many secret areas are only reachable with precise wall jump sequences.

Advanced Techniques

Dash Cancel

After performing a ground slash, immediately press jump to cancel the recovery animation. This lets you maintain momentum and is essential for speed runs. Practice this on early levels until it becomes second nature.

Enemy Bounce

Landing on top of an enemy without attacking will bounce you higher than a normal jump. Use this to reach platforms that seem impossibly high. Combine it with a wall jump for maximum height.

Speed Scroll Chaining

Collecting a speed scroll while one is already active resets the timer. Plan your route through levels to chain multiple scrolls and blaze through at incredible speed. This is the key to achieving top completion times.

Boss Pattern Reading

Every boss has a three-phase attack pattern. Phase one is slow and predictable. Phase two speeds up and adds new attacks. Phase three is a final frenzy. The trick is to stay patient in phase three — bosses always have a cooldown window after their frenzy where they are completely vulnerable.
